I don’t know where my brain was on Sunday, but I posted Sunday Linkage and totally forgot to include my favorite post! Mrs. Parunak wrote a wonderful article last week that just went straight to my heart. Here is an excerpt:
“When I put my phone conversation, my blog comment, my recipe ahead of doing my job as their mother at the first signal that they need me, then I am being a hypocrite if I expect them not to put their games, their block towers, their conflicts ahead of doing their jobs as children and obeying my voice.”
I highly recommend that every mother read this article – it’s something I think we all need to hear:
First Time, and With a Cheerful Attitude, a Thought for Mothers
Thanks for the linky love. :)
LOL, you’re welcome! I couldn’t believe I forgot it. I even have it bookmarked for my husband to read (my husband gets almost as much out of your blog as I do!)
did you see that i mentioned the article in my post on sunday? i too loved it!
Lori, I hadn’t seen that yet, but I just visiited and also saw that you linked to one of my articles – thank you. I usually play catch-up with my blog reading about once a week, so I hadn’t seen this post yet. BTW, those pictures of your kids in the trash bin are priceless! I’ve been trying to post a comment on your blog, but I’m not able to. Not sure why???
Hi Rina,
I just wanted you to know that I am loving all of your posts! I have been printing them up like crazy. Yesterday it was about 17 pages. I love how you write, it seems so well thought out. I love the content. Kindred spirits ;-)
I can’t possibly comment on each post, first of all I print them up in a word document so I don’t even know where they came from. Second, I just don’t have time if I am doing what I am really supposed to be doing.
I thought I could just let you know every now and again that I am so blessed by your blog. Hopefully I won’t exhaust your site, then what would I do???
I really liked the link you are referring to in this post. That post that she wrote spoke volumes to me and was very convicting. The timing was perfect as I am trying to refocus.
I wish I could just hug you! I feel like I know you already even though we may never meet. May God bless you and keep you. Remember you have a ‘lurker’ who is here frequently!
Amazed by His Grace,
Michelle

Michelle, your words mean so much to me – you have no idea! I’m so blessed to know that you’ve been touched by the things written here and I’m thankful to have found another friend in blog land. As I shared on your blog, I haven’t yet gotten caught up with everything from the Titus 2 Party, so I haven’t been able to go through your archives yet, but I’m really looking forward to going through your past articles and getting to know you better.
