Fannie and Shaye have been best friends for 20 years and have two adorable little girls, Madeline and Cheyenne, who were born only a few months apart. They live hundreds of miles apart, and were together for just a few days so while they were here we got to set up a special photo session for the girls. Here are some of my favorites…
One special shot that Mom requested was of Madeline with their guitar. At three months old and not young enough to curl up with guitar, and not quite old enough to sit up with it, either, I knew it would be a tough shot to achieve. But little one decided she was ready for a nap JUST in time, and we were able to get this picture of her, right before she woke up again…
I’m so thankful to have been asked to photograph such a great time in the lives of these two families! Fannie and Shaye, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your beautiful girls, and your special friendship. Fannie, I hope to see you again sometime soon… maybe a special visit for her first birthday? I’ll take the birthday party pictures! :)

These pictures are stunning! I especially love the first one that captures the mothers with their daughters, but everyone together. It’s such a blessing for best friends to see each other’s children come into the world and be able to raise their children together. Their daughters will probably grow up to be best friends, too!
